Community Development through Polytechnic Scheme (C.D.T.P.)

The CDTP (Community Development through Polytechnic) Scheme is sponsored by Govt. of India (MSDE). Main object of the scheme is to impart skill development training to the rural youth in the need assessed areas apart from Technical and Support Services, Awareness camps etc. The skill programs offered are flexible and non-formal with open access to all, without any precondition of age, sex and educational qualification. The preferred target group are the poor and deprived sections of the society in both urban and rural areas specifically women, SC/ST/OBC/ minorities , school dropouts , street children, physically handicapped, economically weaker section of the society and other under privileged persons. The duration of the program/training is from 3 to 6 months depending upon the course modules. No fee is charged from the students/trainees, it is absolutely FREE. Admissions to the courses are open throughout the year.
