This scheme is sponsored by Haryana Government and for the benefit of
unemployed persons in rural areas. Maximum beneficiaries of the scheme are
SC/ST persons. The objective of the scheme is to ensure a steady flow of skilled
workers in different trades for the industry; to raise the quality and quantity of
industrial production by systematic training of workers; and to reduce
unemployment among the educated youth by equipping them for suitable
industrial employment and to provide training to scheduled caste candidates in
order to make them gainfully employed through short-term courses of skill
development in various areas. Duration of this scheme is 100 hours to 500 hours
(One month to Three month). A stipend is also paid to SC/ST students during
training period. No fee is charged from the students/trainees, it is absolutely
FREE. Admissions to the courses are open throughout the year.
